URLSRT was founded by AshParX to solve this fundamental problem: offering a fast, clean, and reliable link shortening utility accompanied by customizable QR codes, link-in-bio landing pages, and real-time visitor analytics—completely free for individual creators, teams, and small businesses.

URLSRT brings together four essential link management tools into a unified, intuitive dashboard:

  • URL Shortening: Converting lengthy, complex links into clean, trackable short URLs with customizable aliases, expiration timers, and password protection.
  • Custom QR Code Generation: Producing high-resolution, branded 2D barcodes with custom colors, embedded logos, and scan analytics.
  • Link-in-Bio Builder: Providing over 25 responsive mobile-first themes for social media creators on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
  • Real-Time Analytics: Capturing visitor channels, geographic country distribution via GeoIP, and device categories without tracking personally identifiable viewer data.

Engineering & Infrastructure

URLSRT is built on a modern high-concurrency Node.js and Express stack, backed by managed PostgreSQL (Neon) and in-memory Redis caching. This dual-tier caching architecture ensures that short link redirections execute with near-zero latency (under 20 milliseconds), preserving user experience and SEO integrity.

Zero Forced Interstitials: Unlike many commercial link shorteners that force visitors to view 5-second countdown advertisements or solve captchas, URLSRT executes immediate HTTP 302 redirects directly to the target destination.

Commitment to Safety & Anti-Abuse

Because link shorteners can potentially be misused to conceal malicious destinations, trust and security are foundational to our platform. We enforce strict acceptable use guidelines:

  • We proactively screen URLs against known malicious domain databases.
  • We maintain an active Report Abuse workflow where suspicious or deceptive links are reviewed and promptly terminated.
  • We respect visitor privacy: we do not sell visitor browsing profiles to third-party data brokers.
